D-Zine
has DJ'ed at some of London's top clubs as well as internationally
rocking crowds across Europe, the USA, Australia, Hong Kong
and Japan. His experiences also include DJ'ing at various
festivals, Glastonbury, Reading, Phoenix, London's Urban Games,
Denmark's Roskillde, Belgium's Dour, and
Spain's Vina Rock Festival, and never one to shy away from
a challenge, D-Zine has even DJ'ed a Hip-Hop set as the support
act for The Creatures aka Siouxsie And The Banshees.
Guest spots on Radio 1, XFM and Kiss FM lead to him hosting
his own radio shows on Prime Time Radio and Street FM and
has now landed him firmly in legal radio territory again with
his Monday night
R&B/Hip-Hop show (D-Zine Skool, 9pm-11pm) on West London’s
Westside 89.6FM and worldwide at www.westsideradio.co.uk
Whether a 2 hour set or one of his legendary 5 hour sets,
D-Zine’s love for what he does never dips. He pushes
his sets so far beyond a simple 'R&B, Hip-Hop' set, with
his Turntable Remixes and sprinklings of Bashment, that a
night with D-Zine is not easily forgotten. What you won’t
find in his record box though is his infectious enthusiasm
which adds to the experience to make the crowd move and sing-along.
He’s often seen smiling, dancing and singing behind
the decks, to the point where you'd be forgiven for thinking
he's a paying customer who’s gate-crashed the DJ booth.
HE LOVES IT!!
D-Zine
says “I don't play ALL the big tunes but I DO play ALL
the big tunes that I like!”
Tim
Irwin of DJ Mag wrote, “D-Zine cuts and scratches like
a virtuoso, clever, precise and always in tune with the music,
rather than just showing off his skills for the sake of it.”
